How Slack Notifications Work for Rewards

The PerkUp Slack integration allows your organization to celebrate work anniversaries and birthdays directly in Slack.
1. Notification Types
- Direct Messages: Send a private notification to an individual, letting them know about a reward they’ve received in PerkUp for their birthday or work anniversary.
- Public Channel Posts: Post celebrations to a designated Slack channel so the whole team can join in.
2. Public Channel Posting Options
- Grouped Messages: Combine all birthdays or anniversaries for the day into a single message.
- Individual Messages: Post each birthday or anniversary as its own separate message.
3. Limitations
The Slack integration does not support:
- Spot rewards
- Direct mail rewards
- Event-related notifications
