This article explains how to add funds to your PerkUp account so you can send rewards, and what each payment method costs.
How do I add funds to my account?
Adding funds to your PerkUp account starts with the Add funds action on the account page. This creates an invoice, which is sent to your billing email and also opens in a new tab as a hosted payment page. Even if you're paying by credit card, you'll complete the payment on that hosted invoice page.
Go to the account you want to fund and select Add funds.
Enter the amount you want to add. The minimum top-up is $10.00.
Confirm to generate the invoice. It's emailed to you and opens as a hosted payment page.
Pay the invoice using one of the payment methods below.
Once payment is complete, the funds are credited to your account balance and ready to use for rewards.
What payment methods can I use?
PerkUp supports three ways to add funds to your account:
Credit card — paid on the hosted invoice page. A 3% processing fee applies, with a $3.00 minimum fee. Funds become available once the invoice is paid.
Bank transfer — no fee. Include the invoice number in your transfer memo so the payment automatically matches to the correct invoice. Funds become available once the transfer completes.
Account transfer — move funds between your own organization's accounts instantly, with no fee.
These are the only supported funding methods. PerkUp does not support ACH debit or direct debit — a bank transfer (sometimes called a "wire") is the correct way to fund by bank.
Why can't I see the Add funds option?
Adding funds requires admin or manager access along with fund permission on the account. If you don't see the option, your organization may have restricted invoicing to admins only — some organizations hide invoicing from managers entirely. Contact your PerkUp admin, or message us using the messenger in this help center or the app if you believe you should have access.
Can I top up while placing an order?
Yes. If your balance is insufficient during checkout in an order flow, an embedded card checkout lets you top up inline without leaving the order. This inline option only accepts credit card, carries the same 3% fee, and has a $10 minimum.
What if my organization has multiple billing entities?
If your organization has more than one billing entity, you'll be asked to choose which entity the invoice should be issued from when you add funds. Each entity has its own invoices and billing details.
When are payments due?
Invoices are due Net-30 by default, meaning payment is expected within 30 days of the invoice date. Some organizations have different terms set by their PerkUp account team. You can always see your exact payment terms on your Billing page.
