Do I need to create a password for PerkUp?
No — PerkUp doesn't use passwords at all. There's nothing to set up in advance and nothing to reset if you forget it, because it doesn't exist. Instead, you sign in with either Google sign-in or an email magic link.
How do I sign in with Google?
Choose "Sign in with Google" and select the Google account that matches the email your organization has on file for you. This is the fastest option if your work email is a Google account.
How do I sign in with an email magic link?
If you don't use Google sign-in, enter your email address and PerkUp sends you a sign-in link. Open the email and click the link to be signed in automatically — no code to type in. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam or junk folder. You can also request the link again if needed.
Do I need to create an account before I can sign in?
There's no separate account creation step. Once your organization adds you as a person in PerkUp — or once someone sends you a reward — you can sign in with that same email using Google sign-in or a magic link, and you'll land in your account automatically.
What if my organization uses single sign-on (SSO)?
Some organizations set up single sign-on (SSO) so employees sign in through their company's identity provider instead of Google or a magic link. If your organization has SSO enabled, use your normal company sign-in process to reach PerkUp instead of Google or a magic link.
Why can't I sign in?
Sign-in issues are usually caused by a wrong email, a magic link stuck in spam, or an SSO setup that needs a different sign-in path. See "Why can't I sign in?" for step-by-step troubleshooting, or contact support through the messenger on this help center or in the app.
