This article explains how connecting HubSpot to PerkUp lets you sync CRM data and trigger rewards automatically from deal and lifecycle changes.

How do I connect HubSpot to PerkUp?

Go to Organization → Integrations → HubSpot and follow the connect flow. You need admin access to set this up. Once connected, you can sync contacts, companies, and deals into PerkUp, each with its own on/off toggle — so you can, for example, sync deals without syncing every contact.

Can HubSpot trigger rewards automatically?

Yes. You can set up reward automations that fire on CRM events — a deal stage change, a lifecycle stage change, or a lead status change. For each rule, you configure the reward amount, the gift, and the message sent when the event happens, so a rep closing a deal or a lead moving to a new stage can trigger a reward without anyone sending it manually.

Can I send a PerkUp reward from inside a HubSpot workflow?

Yes. A "Send PerkUp reward" action is available as a step inside your own HubSpot workflows, so you can add a PerkUp reward to any workflow you're already building in HubSpot rather than setting up a separate PerkUp automation.

Does PerkUp write reward activity back to HubSpot?

You can turn on optional write-back so that reward sent and redeemed activity, along with reward counts, appear as HubSpot contact properties. Enable it if you want reward history visible on the contact record in HubSpot itself.

Where do I configure the details of each automation?

Deeper configuration — which deal stages trigger a reward, what gift is sent, and message customization — is set up in the app's HubSpot settings drawer once you've connected the integration. See the HubSpot automations page in your PerkUp admin for the full rule builder.

See "Labels and lists: targeting groups of people" if you want to combine CRM-triggered rewards with team targeting.
