What is a PerkUp Amazon gift card?
An Amazon gift card is one of the gift card brands available in PerkUp's gift card shop. When you buy or receive one, you get a code that redeems on Amazon's own site exactly like any other Amazon gift card — it isn't a PerkUp-specific product, and it isn't tied to a PerkUp account on Amazon.
Which countries can get an Amazon gift card?
Amazon gift cards are available for the US and Canada only. Each country has its own separate card — a US Amazon gift card and a Canada Amazon gift card are different products, so the one you're offered depends on your account's country.
How do I redeem my Amazon gift card?
Find your gift card code in the PerkUp app under Transactions, on the order details for that purchase, or in your confirmation email.
Go to Amazon's gift card redemption page and enter the code as you would for any Amazon gift card.
The balance is added to your Amazon account and is available to spend on Amazon like any other gift card balance.
Success looks like the balance appearing in your Amazon account after you redeem the code. If Amazon doesn't accept the code or shows an error, don't try to reorder — contact support through the messenger on this help center or in the app with your order number so we can look into it.
Is an Amazon gift card the same as shopping on Amazon in PerkUp?
No — these are two separate features. An Amazon gift card is a code you redeem yourself on Amazon's site. In-app Amazon shopping, available on the Amazon shopping page in PerkUp (where your organization offers it), lets you search Amazon's catalog inside PerkUp and have PerkUp place the order on your behalf — you never see or redeem a gift card code for those orders. If you're trying to shop on Amazon.com directly using your PerkUp balance rather than redeeming a code, use in-app Amazon shopping instead of buying an Amazon gift card. What if my Amazon gift card didn't arrive?
Most gift cards, including Amazon gift cards, deliver instantly. If your purchase went through and no code appears in Transactions or your confirmation email after a reasonable wait, don't repurchase — contact support through the messenger on this help center or in the app with your order number. There's no self-serve way to reissue a gift card, so support will look into it and recover or replace the code for you.
