What is a perk program?

Unlike a traditional perk program that might only offer a select number of vendors or services, a perk program sets parameters and puts the choice in the hands of your team.
There are three components of a perk program:
- Budget: How much can the team spend within the given period?
- Frequency: How long does the team have to spend their budget?
- Approved categories: What categories of perks are approved?
Budget
In PerkUp, you can quickly select $20, $40, or $60 as the budget for a program. If you'd like, you can select "Custom" to create a custom program budget.
Frequency
- Monthly
- Annual
- Or one-time
Most often, programs are monthly, but sometimes you'll want to create a one-time or annual program. Also, budgets do not roll over between the frequencies period. We believe the team should make an effort to maximize their value during each program period.
Approved Categories
Select one or multiple approved categories for a specific program.
Can I create multiple programs?
Yes! You can create one or multiple programs to make up your company's perk program.
