Extending, reactivating, or taking back a reward you sent

Admins: change a reward's end date, revive an expired budget, or revoke an unclaimed reward.

Who can do this?

Only your organization's admins (or the sender) can change a reward's dates — PerkUp support can't extend rewards on a recipient's behalf, which is why recipients asking us get pointed to you.

Extending or reactivating

Open the program and edit its end date or the recipient expiry (up to 365 days). The change applies to unclaimed and unspent budgets; a reward that already expired can be revived the same way.

Taking a reward back

Remove the recipient from the program to revoke an unclaimed reward, or expire the whole program early — see "Resending, expiring, or cancelling a sent reward". Neither action auto-refunds anything; budgets simply stop being spendable and the unspent amount stays in your funding account.

Things that aren't possible

  • There's no pause for a sent reward — for automations, disable the rule instead ("Editing a running automation or program").

  • Balances can't be cashed out to a bank account — by design, budgets are spent through PerkUp per your company's guidelines.
