This article explains how to create a redemption page — a public landing page where anyone with the link can pick swag and enter their shipping address, no PerkUp account required. It's the right tool for swag drops, conference or event giveaways, and sending gifts to people who aren't on your team, like candidates, clients, or community members.

What is a redemption page?

A redemption page is a branded, public URL (published under your org's "/redeem/..." address) where recipients choose from a set of products and submit their shipping details themselves. Because it doesn't require a PerkUp login, you can share the link with employees and non-employees alike — it's the closest thing to a swag drop or pop-up store, and it's also the standard way to gift people outside your organization.

How do I create a redemption page?

Create and manage redemption pages from Redemption pages in your admin dashboard. You'll need admin access to set one up.

  1. Go to Redemption pages and start a new page.

  2. Choose the products recipients can pick from: a curated list of products, a whole existing collection from your catalog, or a new bulk order staged specifically for this page.

  3. Set a selection mode: recipients can pick exactly one product, pick up to a set number of items, or shop within a set dollar budget.

  4. Set who can access the page and any spending caps (see below), then publish.

Once published, share the page URL directly, embed it in an email or Slack message, or use it as the distribution link for a new-hire welcome kit or event.

Who can access a redemption page?

You control access per page with one of these modes:

  • Open — anyone with the link can redeem.

  • Email-domain allowlist — only people signing in with an approved email domain can redeem.

  • Shared access code — recipients enter a single shared code to unlock the page.

  • Pre-issued unique URLs — each recipient gets their own one-time link.

Pick the mode that matches the audience: open or a shared code for a public event booth, an email-domain allowlist for an all-company drop, or unique URLs when you need to track exactly who redeemed.

How do spending and quantity caps work?

Redemption pages support both per-person caps (limiting what a single recipient can claim) and a total cap for the whole page (limiting overall spend or units across everyone who redeems). If you set a budget-based page, PerkUp shows warnings once the page reaches 80% and 90% of its total budget so you can step in before it's exhausted.

What other settings can I configure?

Each redemption page also lets you set:

  • A funding account to pay for redemptions.

  • An optional approval workflow, so an admin reviews each redemption before it moves to production.

  • Surprise mode, which hides product images so recipients don't know exactly what they'll receive.

  • Page branding — colors and a banner image to match your org.

  • Notifications, including email or Slack alerts and digest summaries as redemptions come in.

What if I need a product that isn't in my catalog?

If you want to feature a product that isn't already in your on-demand or bulk catalog, contact support through the messenger in your admin dashboard — PerkUp can often source specific products for a bulk order that you can then stage on a redemption page.
