This article explains where your shipping addresses live in PerkUp, how to add or update one, and why keeping your default address current matters.
Where do I manage my shipping addresses?
Your saved shipping addresses live on your account settings page. You can save more than one address and mark one as your default. The default address is what PerkUp uses automatically for direct-mail rewards — gifts your company sends straight to you without asking you to enter an address at checkout.
Why does PerkUp already have an address for me?
If you see an address on your account that you didn't type in yourself, it likely arrived automatically. Some companies connect their HR system to PerkUp, which syncs employee shipping addresses, or import addresses for their team via CSV upload. If that address is wrong or outdated, you can edit it yourself on your account settings page — your edit doesn't get overwritten unless your company's admin has set HR data to take priority for that field.
Why do some countries ask for extra information?
Certain countries require extra identifying information alongside the address itself, because customs and delivery in those countries depend on it. You'll be asked for:
Brazil: a CPF or CNPJ number
China: a resident ID number
South Korea: a PCCC (personal customs clearance code)
Italy and Mexico: a tax ID
These fields only appear when your address is in one of these countries. Enter them accurately — an incorrect or missing ID can hold up customs clearance for physical shipments.
Why does keeping my address current matter?
Your default address is what PerkUp uses whenever your company sends you a reward by direct mail, without you confirming an address at checkout. If that address is stale, your gift can ship to the wrong place. Update your default address on your account settings page before you're expecting a direct-mail reward, not after.
Can I change the address after I've already placed an order?
No — once an order is placed, changing the shipping address isn't something you or your admin can do yourselves in the app. If an order is about to ship (or already has) to the wrong address, contact support immediately through the messenger on this help center or in the app; the sooner you reach out, the more likely it is that fulfillment can still be stopped or corrected before the carrier picks it up.
