This article explains the changes your IT team needs to make as PerkUp migrates from perkupapp.com to perkup.com, so access stays uninterrupted throughout the transition.
Why is PerkUp changing domains?
PerkUp is migrating from perkupapp.com to perkup.com. During the transition period, both domains will remain active. This article covers the changes your IT team needs to be aware of and the actions required to ensure uninterrupted service.
Which domains should I allowlist?
To ensure continued access to PerkUp, allowlist both of the following domains in your firewalls, web proxies, and any network security tools:
*.perkupapp.com (current — keep active)
*.perkup.com (new — add now)
Both domains must be supported simultaneously. Do not remove perkupapp.com until PerkUp confirms the migration is fully complete.
Is the web app URL changing?
Yes. The PerkUp web application is moving from my.perkupapp.com to my.perkup.com. Both URLs will work during the transition period, and requests to my.perkupapp.com will automatically redirect to my.perkup.com. If your organization uses web filtering or proxy rules that allowlist specific URLs for employee access, add my.perkup.com to your allowlist.
Are PerkUp's email sender addresses changing?
Yes. Each PerkUp sending address will transition from @perkupapp.com to @perkup.com:
Rewards: [email protected] → [email protected]
Invitations: [email protected] → [email protected]
Notifications: [email protected] → [email protected]
Allowlist all new @perkup.com sender addresses in your email security tools (for example, Proofpoint, Mimecast, Microsoft Defender, or Google Workspace) to prevent messages from being flagged as spam or blocked.
Will emails from the new domain pass authentication checks?
Yes. PerkUp's new perkup.com domain has fully configured SPF, DKIM, and DMARC records, so emails from @perkup.com will pass standard authentication checks. If your organization uses strict email policies, you can verify these records by looking up the DNS entries for perkup.com.
Do I need to update SSO or SAML configuration?
No SSO or SAML changes are needed at this time. If your organization uses SSO to authenticate with PerkUp, PerkUp will communicate any required changes to redirect URIs or entity IDs separately before they take effect. Be aware that updates may be required later in the migration.
Will my existing bookmarks and saved links still work?
Yes. All existing perkupapp.com URLs will redirect to their perkup.com equivalents, so bookmarks and saved links will continue to work. We recommend updating saved bookmarks to perkup.com for the best experience going forward.
What is the migration timeline?
Both perkupapp.com and perkup.com will operate in parallel throughout the transition. PerkUp will notify you before any domain is fully retired. There is no hard deadline for IT changes, but we recommend allowlisting the new domain as soon as possible to avoid disruption.
What's the full IT action checklist?
Allowlist *.perkup.com in firewalls, web proxies, and network security tools.
Allowlist @perkup.com sender addresses in your email gateway and spam filters.
Allowlist my.perkup.com in web filters and proxy rules.
Keep existing perkupapp.com rules in place — do not remove them yet.
Note that SSO/SAML changes may be communicated separately if applicable.
Update saved bookmarks from perkupapp.com to perkup.com (optional but recommended).
When you finish these steps, PerkUp should be fully accessible on both domains with no interruption to email delivery or app access.
