How do I open the design editor?
From the On Demand catalog (Swag → On Demand catalog), open any product card and choose to customize it instead of quick-adding it. This opens the design editor for that specific product, where you have full control over how your artwork appears.
What can I customize in the editor?
The editor lets you configure four things for a product:
Views: pick which sides of the product to decorate, such as front and back.
Print technique: choose from options like embroidery, DTG, DTF, UV, sublimation, screen printing, or laser engraving — available techniques depend on the specific product.
Colors: select from the product's available colors, grouped for easy browsing.
Artwork placement: place your logo or artwork within the print area for each view. Some products also offer a 3D preview so you can see how the finished item will look.
Why was my artwork upload blocked?
The editor may block low-resolution raster artwork (like standard JPG or PNG files) when it's too small to print sharply — anything lower will look blurry or pixelated once printed. Whether a raster file is eligible depends on the print size you've selected, since a larger print area needs more resolution. Use a vector file (SVG) instead: vector artwork scales losslessly to any print size, so it's the most reliable format regardless of how large the print area is.
What if I want to switch between logo formats?
If you only have a raster version of your logo (JPG or PNG) and it's being blocked, ask your design team for an SVG version, or try a higher-resolution export. Raster uploads aren't always eligible for print — whether a file works depends on the print size you've selected, since larger print areas need more resolution to look sharp. Vector files always scale to any print size, so they're the more reliable choice if you're able to switch formats.
Do I lose my work if I don't finish the design in one sitting?
No. Drafts persist until you explicitly save the product, so you can leave the editor and come back later without losing your view, print technique, color, and placement choices.
What happens when I save my design?
Saving creates the product in your organization's private catalog and automatically adds it to your organization's default swag collection ("{Your Org} Swag"). The product is then ready to include in redemption pages, bulk orders, or your published swag store.
Can I change a design after it's saved?
Yes. On-demand designs are editable in place at any time — you can update the artwork, print technique, colors, or the product's title, description, and thumbnail. Changes apply to the live product immediately, so make sure you're ready for recipients to see the update before you save it. On-demand designs don't have version history, so a saved edit can't be rolled back.
