Where do I find my gift card code?
Your gift card code lives in two places: in your PerkUp account and in your inbox. In the app, go to Transactions and open the order for the gift card to see the code, link, and PIN (when the brand uses one). PerkUp also emails the same code and redemption instructions to you in an order confirmation email as soon as it's ready. If you can't find the email, check your spam or promotions folder before contacting support.
How long does it take to get my code?
Most gift cards deliver instantly — the code appears in your order details and inbox within moments of purchase. Some brands deliver with a short delay while our gift card partner confirms the order; these orders show as pending until the code is ready. How do I redeem the code once I have it?
Open the order in Transactions or find the confirmation email.
Copy the gift card code (and PIN, if the brand provides one).
Go to the retailer's website or app and look for their "redeem a gift card" or "apply gift card" option, usually at checkout.
Enter the code (and PIN if required) exactly as shown, then confirm.
Success looks like the retailer applying the balance to your account or checkout total. If the retailer's page shows an error, is blank, or won't accept your code, see "Where's my gift card code?" for what to do next — this is usually an issue on the retailer's redemption page rather than with the code itself.
How do I redeem an Amazon gift card?
Amazon gift cards from PerkUp work exactly like any other Amazon gift card. Redeem them directly on Amazon by applying the code to your Amazon account balance. Amazon gift cards are available for members in the US and Canada, with a separate card issued for each country.
Is there a limit on how many gift cards I can buy?
If you're buying gift cards with personal funds you've added to your account, there's a $300 per calendar-month cap. This limit doesn't apply to gift cards funded by your employer's rewards.
What if my code doesn't work or never arrives?
If funds were deducted from your balance but you never received a code, or the code you have won't redeem, don't worry — this happens occasionally and support can help. There's no self-serve way to resend or replace a gift card, so contact support through the messenger in your PerkUp account or the app. Have your order details ready so support can look into it quickly.
